Where to Party During Miami Music Week 2019

  • Share

If you’re a fan of EDM, Miami Music Week is, without a doubt, mecca. No festival on earth drops the beat quite as hard as MMW. From Wednesday, March 27 to Sunday, March 31, DJs, producers, and musicians from around the world take to stages across the city. What makes Miami Music Week unique is not just the sounds, but the surroundings. During the day, listening poolside—or in the pool itself—is widely on offer. In addition to our own events at Nautilus (shameless plug to follow), here’s where to party during Miami Music Week 2019.

Spinnin’ Hotel at Nautilus

Spinnin’ Records is back at Nautilus for the third year straight for the aptly named Spinnin’ Hotel series. Their Miami Music Week lineup features some of the most exciting names in EDM, like Benny Benassi, Autograf, and Vintage Culture. Festivities kick off Wednesday, March 27 with the Spinnin Sessions party, and keep going through ‘til Sunday, March 31. To get a taste of what’ll sound like, check out our playlist here. Detroit Love Boat

Coming in early for Miami Music Week? Don’t miss Detroit Love Boat, an afternoon-long fest at sea. Board the Biscayne Lady Yacht Tuesday, March 26 around 1 p.m. and depart promptly at 3 p.m., after which you’ll be treated to the EDM stylings of Luciano, Carl Craig, Davide Squillace, Onur Ozer, Taimur and Desyn. Electric Pickle

As of June this year, Wynwood dance club the Electric Pickle will sadly be calling it quits, which means this Miami Music Week is the last chance to catch them in the act. Friday, March 29, Soul Clap’s House of Efunk takes over, bringing friends like Felix Da Housecat, Mija, and Kenny Dope for an evening of new and notable sounds. Ultra Music Festival

Ultra is, well, ultra. This year, the festival will set up shop at Virginia Key Beach Park. Headlining the multi-day event are boldface names in EDM, like David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, and Tiesto. Ultra will be putting on shows March 29 through March 31, and GA tickets are nearly sold out. Move fast if you want to get down. For tickets and information, click here.

Dim Mak Miami

There’s no stopping Steve Aoki. One of the most recognizable faces of EDM, Aoki will be at Mana Wynwood on Wednesday, March 27, spinning along with Diskolab-approved SLUSHII, Henry Fong, and Tisoki. For tickets and information, click here.
