SIXTY Sees: Chiara Luber’s “Paroles d’Amour”

If you’ve got a Pinterest page dedicated to European summer inspiration (think Roman Holiday film stills, Slim Aarons poolside photographs, or anything that whiffs of that so-called “la dolce vita“), then you will absolutely adore this animated film by Chiara Luber. “Paroles d’Amour” is a collaboration between the director and French animation house Passion Paris. Turns out the pairing is a brilliant one. Employing a gorgeous palette and a beautiful soundtrack, the short follows our young heroine as she reminisces on her romantic setbacks. Love, like summer, is bittersweet, isn’t it? Have a watch.
