The New York City skyline has inspired countless writers and artists to attempt to wrest the feeling it brings into words and images, respectively. When viewed in aggregate, the sight is formidable, inspiring, terrifying, sublime. In “Skyline, Be Mine,” British singer (and freshly minted expat) Shura creates an ambient, electronic ode to Manhattan seen from afar. It’s pretty dreamy. Have a listen.
