SIXTY Listens: MorMor “Heaven’s Only Wishful”

Canadian singer/producer MorMor (aka Seth Nyquist) does not quite fit in with his peers. Or, really, his music doesn’t befit exactly one description. For “Heaven’s Only Wishful,” a new single from the (fairly) new artist, takes us on an unexpected tour through genres, from contemplate rock to glittering pop. It’s a song that bends expectations, where synth supersedes guitar, until guitar returns the favor. It’s an understated, blissfully surprising gem—and a good reason to have MorMor on your radar from here on out. Have a listen.
