SIXTY Listens: Hatchie “Sleep”

  • Share

“Sleep,” the latest track by Aussie gaze-pop artist Hatchie is a step back in time. With plenty of synth and hints of The Cranberries, the track borrows from the sounds of the John Hughes era, all shoulder pads and permed hair. Singer Harriette Pilbeam breezily croons about love and fate in 2018, proof that some things, despite passage of the years, really never change. Have a listen.
