Baltimore-bred Beach House has been turning out bedroom pop of the cerebral sort since 2004. Each album since then, while good, has existed within the parameters Beach House first created for themselves. But maybe not their next effort, if this latest release is any indication. “Lemon Glow” is the first track off that not-yet-named album, and it pulses with a sense of urgency unlike anything they’ve done. It’s a sexy, gorgeous dream. Pure Beach House, plus a little something extra.
