@Paridust’s #MiamiArtWeek Recap

The lines between fashion and art are so often blurred. Standing plum in its center is Instagram star @paridust, who thoughtfully juxtaposes canvas and couture. Against a backdrop of hashtag-able works wearing equally noteworthy clothes, Pari Ehsan, a former architect and interior designer, poses in her own art directed scenes: Henning Strassburger with Dolce & Gabbana, Tomoo Gokita with Sandro Paris, Mary Heilmann with Preen. The outfits play with the scene, blending in like works all their own. Last week, Nautilus, a SIXTY Hotel had the pleasure of hosting Pari while she toured all Miami Art Week had to offer. Below, Pari selects a few of her favorites. Of her methods, Pari tells us: “I am drawn to works that spark some kind of emotional reaction, the pieces that pull me into the present moment and cause me to think, wonder and reconsider.”
