A Short Film for Those Who Live to Travel

  • Share

There is a shared compulsion amongst frequent travelers, those who move feverishly throughout the world, forever on the hunt for new experiences. For these restless souls, freedom is found in disappearing into the midst of an unknown scene. You become not the protagonist, but an extra in the background—and happily so. For if you are willing to forfeit ego, what you will get in turn is the stillness required to be fully present. Every smell, every sound, every taste will be savored in its purist state. In this lovely short by director Joan Bosch, titled (Life) While Traveling, the reward of placing yourself purposely out of your comfort zone is seen in clear relief. Have a watch.
